Short notice cleaning, without a rushed job

Sometimes the notice is short. A showing got scheduled, family is driving up tonight, a tenant moved out early. Call (774) 778-3120 first thing and there is a decent chance we can get someone to you the same day or the next morning. We will tell you straight if we cannot. An honest no beats a yes that turns into a cleaner arriving at eight at night.

Short notice does not mean a different standard. You still get a flat price agreed before anyone starts and a list of what will be done in the time available. What changes is the priority order. On a rush job we ask which rooms people will actually see and which ones can wait for the next visit, then work down that order.

What a rush visit prioritizes

• Kitchen counters, sink, and stovetop cleared and wiped
• Guest bathroom scrubbed and the mirror done properly
• Entry floor and the first thing visitors see
• Trash out of every room, liners replaced
• Living room floors vacuumed, cushions straightened
• Glass on doors and coffee tables wiped clear
• Beds made and bedroom surfaces cleared off
• Anything you name as the one must do

When same day is realistic

Openings happen most often on weekday mornings, when a recurring client cancels or a job finishes early. Weekends and the last week of the month are the hardest, and the days after a storm fill up fast. The older mill housing in Clinton, Fitchburg and Leominster turns over constantly, so landlords calling on a Friday for a Saturday clean often have to take Monday instead.

Two things make a last minute booking go smoothly. Tell us the truth about the condition, because a quote based on a description that leaves out the dog and the basement helps nobody. And tell us the hard deadline. If the photographer arrives at noon, we plan backward from noon and you get the rooms that matter finished, not a house that is halfway through everything.
