Recurring cleaning works because nothing has to be renegotiated. The day is set, the price per visit is set, the room list is set, and the same cleaner holds your address. You are not re-explaining the dog crate or the stair runner every month to somebody new. Change the schedule or stop it whenever you want, by text, without a penalty or a notice period.
March and early April are the argument for a standing visit. Mud season turns every long driveway in Bolton, Sterling and Lancaster into a delivery system, and a dog that goes out four times a day brings most of it inside. Picking a frequency you will actually keep
Every other week suits most households in this area. Weekly makes sense with young kids, two dogs, a home office and a lot of cooking. Monthly works for a quiet couple or a second home, though expect each visit to carry more weight. Start where you think you belong. After three visits your cleaner will tell you honestly if the interval is wrong, in either direction.
Seasons matter too, and the schedule can flex with them. Some households go weekly from December through April, then drop back to every other week when the boots finally come off for the year. Others keep a steady interval and add one extra visit before the holidays. Changing frequency changes the price per visit, and you hear the new number before it takes effect, never after.

Do you still come during a snowstorm?
If the roads are bad and the towns are asking people to stay off them, we move you rather than risk it. You get a call that morning, not a no show, and the visit is rescheduled inside the same week whenever the schedule allows. Nothing is charged for a weather move.
Can I skip a visit or pause for a month?
Yes. Text a day ahead and the visit is skipped, no fee. Pause for a summer, a renovation or any reason at all, and your day and cleaner are held where possible. There is no contract, so there is nothing to break and nobody to argue with about it.
Will the price change over time?
Not without a conversation first. The flat rate is set on what the house actually takes. If you finish a basement, add a bathroom or bring home a second dog, the number gets revisited together and you approve it before the next visit. No surprise line items ever appear.
